At 18 years old, Aarons enlisted in the U.S. Army, worked as a photographer, and later served as a combat photographer in World War II and earned a Purple Heart. After the war, Aarons moved to California and began photographing celebrities. Aarons never used a stylist, or a makeup artist. He made his career out of what he called "photographing attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places." I like his pictures because they all have that good summer vide, none are depressing and gloomy. Im also interested in older photos and older generations.

Social Exchange
I used my brother for my project not only because he was the only person available but because this topic fits him perfectly. My memo was that people nowadays are so caught up in electronics, and it's not just kids it's also parents. I also am a victim not going to lie, but it is a bad habit. I notice this all the time, whether its in school, sports games, or even at the house. My mom doesn't listen to me anymore, i have to yell her name at least five times to get her attention. My little brother is worse he sits on his ipad from the time he takes his jacket off and then till he lays down for bedtime. Its like my family is enslaved by their phones and electronics. One time i went to my little brothers basketball game and i saw every single parent on there phones, not one watching the game. Yeah i understand that they could be doing something important or work related but still, find time to put the phone down and enjoy life, you only get one. Like my church says “pull your head out of you apps.” If you look at the windows you will see two different locations around the world. I put those there to show that the world is bigger than you think. Break out of the box and try something new. This is why i choose my social exchange topic. Describe: The first picture is my high school. Walking past the building I voluntarily go to everyday since i was 6 years old. School, it's so simple but yet decides how i do in life so I used a darker red for the school to remind me of all the blood, sweat, and tears i've poured into hours upon hours of schoolwork. Light blue faded into dark blues to represent the good and bad days threw out my journey that i still to this day continue. The picture of the cross is super simple. I used a cross because it's a symbol of god and is in my life twenty-four seven. The background is tile in my kitchen, I thought it looked pretty cool so i used it as the background. The picture looked awesome with color but i thought that the black and white made the shadow pop.
